Through its Sustainable Energy Center, FBK develops integrated solutions for renewable hydrogen generation, safe storage, and end-user energy efficiency. Within HYMANTOVALLEY, FBK serves as a scientific think tank, modeling scenarios to optimize the Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH).

The institute will analyze market barriers and provide specialized advice on safety and permitting procedures. It will work alongside UNIMORE to plan the Mantua Hydrogen Hub, ensuring the research center remains economically sustainable and technologically advanced.
