A historic university with a significant presence in Mantua, UNIMORE established the interdepartmental center H2-MO.RE to coordinate research on hydrogen production, storage, and usage. Its multidisciplinary structure allows it to address the energy transition from economic, engineering, physical, and environmental perspectives.

UNIMORE’s role in HMV is extensive and foundational: it handles techno-economic analyses across the entire value chain and coordinates the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) in collaboration with CNR.

Its departments will develop a “Digital Twin” of the ecosystem to simulate performance and future scenarios. Finally, the university collaborates on the design of the new Applied R&I “Hydrogen Hub,” defining its business plan and educational programs.
