CNR is Italy’s premier public research institution. The Institute of Atmospheric Pollution (IIA) specifically focuses on air quality and promoting sustainable industrial policies to protect public health and the environment during the ecological transition. CNR IIA works closely with UNIMORE to conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA).

Their task is to scientifically quantify the environmental impact of the entire Mantua hydrogen ecosystem, monitoring carbon savings and ensuring the Hydrogen Valley meets the strictest atmospheric sustainability standards set by European regulations.
