Nutritech, a dynamic and innovative player in the livestock sector, is redefining agricultural sustainability by introducing a model of industrial symbiosis between farming and energy production to the consortium. Its contribution to the HMV project is visionary: the company will transform its site into a closed-loop ecosystem where electrolysis serves as the catalyst for a circular value chain. By-product oxygen will become a vital resource for oxygenating tanks in an advanced aquaponic greenhouse, while hydrogen will serve a dual purpose: acting as a biological stimulant for fish health and providing fuel for a fully decarbonized internal logistics fleet, replacing fossil fuels in a forklift and a light commercial vehicle.

Completing this innovative framework, Nutritech is opening its doors to the community as a synergistic laboratory for environmental education. In collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Milan and the University of Modena, the site will host educational tours to show younger generations how technology can harmonize production needs with total environmental respect. Additionally, a partnership with Diamant will enable educational routes supported by hydrogen-powered bicycles.
